IS THE RISK TOO BIG?

Is anything holding you back from giving your all to Christ, or from doing something that he has called you to? Or maybe you're trying to fully surrender to Him, but there’s something unsettling about following God; You feel insecure, nervous, fearful, helpless, hurt, angry, awkward etc. If so, I know how you feel, I have had the same feelings before! There have been times when I wanted to be fully surrendered to God and His will, because I knew that was the right thing to do, but I had those feelings inside that held me back. To say it plainly, I felt the risk of giving myself fully to God was too big; My life, my feelings, desires, hopes, future etc. were too important and too valuable to lose. With the Holy Spirit, I evaluated myself to understand these feelings. As I prayed and fought with them, God asked me if I really trusted His love, His character, and that He had my best in mind. 

Were those feelings and fears of surrendering valid? God said to me, "You can trust my love!!!!" "I’m not asking you to surrender for your hurt, death and so on! Can you trust your life to anyone else?" "The reason for surrender is for me to be ruler over your life and protect you like my precious peculiar treasure!” And through a lot of different things, I learned, you can't trust Satan, He doesn't care for you! You can't trust humans either because the ‘arm of flesh fails’ all the time; They don't have life to give you, they don't hold the world together. Every human has their own problems--they can't always fix yours. God is the only one that you can trust your life to! He is trust-worthy, He won't hurt you or ask you to do something outrageous or unreasonable. He knows you–how you feel, loves you, and has a good future planned for you! He is the giver of life, knows just how we operate and how much humans can carry. Plus, He NEVER asks us to do anything on our own, He always works with us!! When God asks you to do something, you can KNOW that His infinitely loving, tender, all-knowing, wisdom is for your best good always! He is GOOD, and there is NO ill motive or act with Him! His ways were designed perfectly! Will you trust Him and give Him your whole heart today? Come follow Jesus with me!
